Cars
Balfour Beatty Fleet Services operates the company car scheme for the Balfour Beatty Group. Our focus is on quality and choice, as well as sustainable and safe car fleet management.
Our company car list is made up of between 250 and 300 vehicles from 12 manufacturers, including:
| Smart | Mercedes | Vauxhall | Renault | Toyota |
| Lexus | Audi | Mini | BMW | Ford |
| Peugeot | Volvo | Nissan |
The list is constantly evolving taking into consideration whole life cost implications for the benefit and operation of our fleet management services, the employing operating company and the driver. We also grade the list to make it easier for drivers to understand and order from.
Sustainable and safe car fleet management
When it comes to company cars, we'll never compromise on quality and choice. But we also make sure that every new company car list offers a choice of vehicles with low, and even zero, CO2 emissions. Lowering our CO2 cap means you won't find any cars on our list with a CO2 rating of more than 140g/km for five seaters and 170 g/km for seven seaters.
We're also always working to ensure the safety of our drivers through a number of Zero Harm initiatives, including:
Electronic Stability Control (ESC) fitted to all our vehicles, at our cost
40% of all fatal road accidents are the result of skidding which makes ESC a potentially lifesaving technology - a recent DfT survey found that vehicles fitted with ESC are 25% less likely to be involved in a fatal crash.
Reversing sensors fitted to all our vehicles, at our cost
So many minor incidents occur when reversing, making this technology a simple and practical way to drive down rear-end manoeuvring incidents and costs for our customers' business.
5 Star rating for all cars on our list tested under EURO NCAP since 2009
This ensures the cars on our list are as safe as possible for drivers, passengers and pedestrians.
